The graphics of this game are simply amazing. The game play itself is easy to follow and fun to play. Customer service is on top of things! I had an issue where 2 ships that I purchased disappeared on me. I reached out to customer service and within 24 business hours they has replied with options to help come to a solution for the issue. I’ve tried many different pirate games, and this one is by far the best one to date!
Best looking, most fun game by a large margin on phone. I even play this on PC at times just because it even looks good on a big screen. In game purchases are completely optional and also yet interesting and reasonably priced but you can definitely do anything and everything in this game without spending a penny. If you like colonial history, naval history, sailing or pirates don’t miss out.
I had four ships (really decent ones), 500 gold, and a lot of each type of ammo. I restart after losing a battle and all of my ships are gone (except one starter ship, I had to restart 3 other battles and this never happened). I was having a lot of fun and now I want to uninstall the game. Hopefully, you fix the issue so it doesn’t happen to anyone else. The game is still amazing and it deserves more recognition than what it has.
The game is 100% perfect. Graphics are amazing, and the story is awesome. The battles, and jobs are smooth and easy yet challenging. I’d do have one request with the flags though. Could you please add a flag customization setting. While the flags that are offered are good, they just arent what I’m personally looking for. Perhaps you could make an editor that could use our photos as a flag. That way all we’d have to do is insert a photo and then the flag should be turned into the inserted photo.
For about 4 or so years now this game has been my go to mobile (not that I play too many mobile games), and if I had a say, it would be an Editor’s Choice. The story is very intriguing and the combat that follows is cinematic. The graphics could perhaps use a overhaul. Currently running on max resolution and graphics, running a smooth 30 fps, overall the performance is great I’ve only had one crash and it was client side. The account that I started with must’ve been wiped because I had a 1st rate
I love this game. As a poor guy like me can play it wo pulling out the debit card. The only major drawbacks are less virtual tours of the towns you build or ports you visit. Also, having a more interactive fleet command interface. Such as setting a unique battle formation or sailing together as one unit on a shared objective for example. Some other things too that’d be awesome would be a virtual tour of your ship, entering the Captain’s cabin, and also have the enemies have a no go zone too.
To be fair it’s a good game. The only problem I’ve experienced is no matter where I try to travel to I always run into pirates. Every single time… no matter where I am at on the map or port I’m sail into or out of. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or not but its VERY ANNOYING. I barely ever ran into this issue in the beginning. However, right after I spend money it started happening. Feels like a way to limit trade or you have to “Open World” strategy it to get around. Annoying and time waste.
Good game, especially when good pirate games are rare. I like how there are bits of info on the premium ships, especially the ones that existed in real life. By the way, for some reason, whenever I try to build a 34 or 36-gunned frigate or look at a 34-gunned frigate in the Book of Ships, the game crashes. Is this a bug or a problem with memory? (Speaking of frigates, these types are rare…) Good game still! (I love how that you can get rid of upgrades on ships like the ram!)
Hands-down a great game, but theres some stuff I’d like to see in future updates. For example, The ability to flag and trade with friendly ships in Open World, The ability to control ships in open world via formations, and the ability to fly faux flags, possibly as something like a powerup you have to recharge to trick enemies, and the ability to sail into harbors and weigh anchor as on The Plague of the Dead. Besides that. Wonderful game, and keep up the good work!
Game could be so much fun but there are a few things that hold it back from being even mediocre. The controls are atrocious and the combat system needs a ton of work. Using two ships in your fleet is more of a nuisance than a bonus; moving from one ship to another completely stops the ship you were previously controlling. The only positives to the game are a well-polished trading system and the fact that the game can be completely free-to-play.
